Mile High Academy (MHA) is currently seeking a passionate and creative part-time art teacher for our middle school and upper school elective classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education and be enthusiastic about inspiring students to explore and develop their artistic talents. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to teach art to lower school students once a week. MHA offers a supportive and collaborative environment committed to providing excellence in Seventh-day Adventist education. Responsibilities: *Teach art classes for middle school and upper school elective courses. *Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that foster creativity and skill development. *Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic growth. *Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate art into cross-curricular activities when appropriate. *Teach art classes for lower school students once a week.
Required Experience
*Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. *Prior teaching experience preferred. *Strong knowledge and proficiency in various art mediums and techniques. *Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. *Must be available to work 15 to 20 hours per week on an hourly basis. *All candidates must have legal right to work in the United Sates. Rocky Mountain Conference Part-time Hourly Teaching Position 2024-2025 School Year The mission of the Rocky Mountain Conference is to lovingly support and empower every member in our conference to know Christ and to make Him fully known through education, outreach and service by communicating hope and encouraging a meaningful connection Christ and each other. Position: Teacher Immediate Supervisor: Head Teacher/Principal Supervisory Responsibilities: None Classification: Part-time, Non-exempt Mid-American Union Remuneration Scale: 59% to 102% Hourly Wage Scale: $17.81 to $31.49 Per Hour Starting hourly rate is determined after verification of denominational credentials issued by the Mid-America Union of Seventh-day Adventists and/or number of relevant years of teaching experience.
