Required Experience

Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher in Education or in relevant major subjects, preferably in Social Studies/History/Geography with a teaching certificate.  He/she must have a minimum 2 years of teaching experience in high school. Other requirements include demonstrable evidence of creating/innovating/adapting high school curricula to engage teenagers, experience with designing and implementing effective and creative inquiry-based units of study, and experience in managing classrooms with diverse students and different learning abilities (including students with special needs).  Candidate also needs to possess a proven ability to differentiate instruction and integrate learning and a positive, client-centric and service-oriented attitude, with a commitment to the Christian mission of HKAA.  Interested candidates are to email Ms. Khim with cover letter, resume and three work references to yimkhim.chan@hkaa.edu.hk.
