Redwood Adventist Academy, located in Santa Rosa, California, is looking for a Forest Kindergarten teacher.  We are looking for an individual who has a love for learning and a love for young people, a strong relationship with Christ, strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. The candidate must demonstrate excellent teaching skills, dynamic outdoor/forest learning experiences, and high academic expectations, especially in the academic areas essential for 1st grade reading, writing, and counting readiness.

Includes but not limited to exemplary teaching experience, denominational elementary certification, outdoor education certification, demonstrated skill in managing a classroom and use of dual teaching platforms, varied teaching methodology, differentiated instruction, and a passion about guiding students into a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus. Candidates must be willing to engage in the local community through church and other extracurricular events and have exceptional interpersonal skills for relating to parents, students and colleagues. NAD certification and authorization to work in the United States are required.
