Fresno Adventist Academy is looking for a full-time 7-12 Science teacher. The individual must be passionate about science and want to lead students to Christ. The candidate should be innovative and able to create a love for scientific discovery and problem-solving, while remaining current with science and technology. The job could include the following classes: 7-8 science, physical science, biology, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology. Other responsibilities will include class sponsorship, supervision, working with other teachers in and out of the department to promote optimal growth of students, and good team skills in solving academic challenges on a day-to-day basis. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Science and hold a secondary NAD teaching endorsement (Multiple endorsements are a plus). Candidates must be in good and regular standing with the Seventh-day Adventist church and must be eligible to work within the United States. The teaching position starts on August 5, 2024. The salary range for the teaching position is $54,726.74 to $70,470.55 based on North American Division teacher certification and experience. Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
