Guam Adventist Academy is located on the beautiful island of Guam and is actively seeking a full time English teacher for grades 7-12. Directly south of Japan and east of The Philippines, Guam is a spectacular specimen of God's wonderful creation. Only 10 by 30 miles in size, Guam offers majestic mountains with excellent hiking, crisp and clear freshwater swimming holes, cool caves, and world class snorkeling and diving. Flights to Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, and The Philippines are only a few hours. Our students come from diverse backgrounds; therefore, the ideal candidate will be culturally competent while maintaining a high standard of academic and spiritual excellence, including a strong work ethic. Many of our students are not Seventh-day Adventist or even Christian and it is important to note that Guam is a mission field. Willingness to collaborate with us to provide an education for eternity is essential.

Applicants should be committed Seventh-day Adventist Christians who attend church regularly. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree and current NAD certification, or be willing to acquire that certification. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the United States and its territories.
