Indigo Christian Jr. Academy is a kindergarten through eighth-grade elementary school located in beautiful Daytona Beach on the east coast of Florida. Three classroom teachers have provided instruction to an enrollment of about 50 students, but they are experiencing enrollment growth and will be expanding to four teachers next school year. The school is located on 10 beautiful acres with the Daytona Beach SDA church. The church is a growing and very supportive church family, and the school is also supported by the local AdventHealth Hospital. ICJA is seeking a second and third-grade teacher for the upcoming school year. They are looking for a dedicated, caring, dynamic teacher who is a team player, creative, and who loves children. Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ. She/He must be able to deliver instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and activities.
