Description

Dakota Adventist Academy (DAA) is seeking a music teacher to join its faculty from July 1, 2024. This is a full-time, salaried, 10-month position in a boarding school. The ideal candidate should strongly desire to serve young people and guide them toward Jesus through solid academics and beautiful music. As with all boarding schools, the job description includes student supervision duties, including weekend supervision. Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to our students and feel a calling toward a job that requires complete dedication. The candidates should also have, or be willing to obtain, a Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement. As with many other SDA boarding schools, employees are required to live in on-campus housing.

We are searching for a competent, qualified, warm, and caring music teacher who is willing to share the teachings of Jesus in this exciting ministry of education. The ideal candidate must be able and willing to work with high school groups, with a focus on building self-esteem, maintaining positive communication, and creating a healthy social environment. We are looking for a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and values building relationships with both students and staff. Any potential candidate must possess Adventist certification and be eligible to work in the United States.
