Wisconsin Academy is seeking to hire a full-time hourly Food Service Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year.  The academy is located 30 miles from Madison, Wisconsin, in a beautiful, rural setting.  The school currently has an enrollment of about 65 students with a potential to grow.  The candidate will work with the Food Service Director to create menus which will provide nutritious meals.  The Food Service Director will coordinate the hours worked.  The expectation is that the candidate will keep a clean and organized kitchen, be able to cook and bake a variety of meals to meet the needs of the culturally diverse student body and supervise student workers.  

Qualified applicants will be active members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and be legally able to work in the United States.  Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in food service, especially large meal preparation.  The individual must be a team player, willing to mentor and supervise student workers, communicate effectively, be organized and flexible, and possess a positive attitude.  If interested in being considered to join our team at Wisconsin Academy please send a resume, cover letter, and three references with email addresses and phone numbers to Sue Nelson (snelson@wi.adventist.org).
