Rogue Valley Adventist Academy (RVAA) is seeking an organized, energetic, relational gr.5/6 teacher for the 2024-25 school year and beyond. Located on the outskirts of Medford, Oregon, RVAA has wonderful students from supportive families; kind, dedicated, professional teachers; and helpful support staff. The school is located on a large, attractive campus in a rural setting which boasts a recently-added advanced tech lab/maker space. RVAA offers year-round middle-school and high-school athletics as well as a winter ski program. The school’s location in Southern Oregon with close proximity to hiking, camping, rafting, and a nearby winter ski slope is perfect for those who love the outdoors. 

Required Experience

RVAA is looking for a self-starter who has a passion for ministry and who is a great communicator and can enhance the RVAA team. A teacher at RVAA must be creative, committed to growth as an educator, and willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of RVAA students. To be considered for this position, the candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree in education and denominational certification or willingness to work toward such. He or she must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
