We are looking for a creative, hard-working, team-oriented individual to fill an opening for a full-time music teacher. The position will encompass teaching music to elementary and middle school students. Classes include classroom music for Preschool-Grade 4 and band and choir for Grades 5-8. Responsibilities may also include leading a praise team once a month for all-school Friday worship and student performances at each of our six supporting churches once a year. Student supervision, sponsorships and additional tasks may also be assigned by the principal
Hood View Adventist School (HVAS) is a Preschool-8th grade school currently serving just over 200 students with a full-time principal, 11 full-time teachers, support staff, and outstanding support from constituent churches.The school is located on 20 beautiful acres with a view of Mt. A qualified applicant will have strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have a current NAD teaching certificate with a music endorsement or the willingness to obtain one. Successful experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong relationship with Jesus and have a passion for Adventist education and making Jesus an integral part of the music program. They should be committed to excellence and helping every student realize their potential.
