Integrates faith and learning through implementing the Spiritual Master Plan, overseeing worship services and student engagement initiatives. With a focus on discipleship and fostering campus engagement with local churches, the Chaplain plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual well-being of students, faculty, and staff. The Chaplain must demonstrate a contagious love for Jesus, a strong commitment to the authority of Scripture, and a deep passion for the Adventist message and mission. Proven people skills and the ability to engage students in a positive, faith-building manner are essential. Required Experience
  • Master of Divinity or related master’s degree required.
  • Pastoral training and experience, minimum five years preferred.
  • Is an endorsed chaplain through the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists or will seek endorsement.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to spiritually nurture university-age students.
  • Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Christianity and Adventism.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
