Glenview Adventist Academy is seeking a middle school Math and Science teacher for the 2024 – 2025 school year! Currently, the school has 160 students and has a departmentalized middle school program. The school is seeking a teacher able to teach 6-8 grade Math and Science. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus, brings creativity to learning, and loves helping students reach their academic goals! Candidates must be able to effectively work within a team and with a diverse range of young learners, as well as being willing to grow and learn as a teacher. GAA is part of the Arizona Conference and is located in Phoenix. The Arizona Conference is a leader in Standards Based Learning, and teachers will be mentored in the curriculum. GAA is on the campus of the Glendale Church and has great church and school leadership as well as community support. Phoenix has wonderful winter time weather with plenty to do year round.

Required Experience

Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification or able to obtain. Ideal candidates will either have experience in teaching middle school Math and Science or certification in Math and Science. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. The ideal teacher must be willing to be part of a team at GAA. The school staff and board work wonderfully together for continued school improvement.
