Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA) is a diverse, 400+ student PK-12th grade school. We value our Adventist foundations and pursue academic excellence at all age levels. We are seeking a highly motivated middle school math and science teacher to join our elementary program to teach 6th and 7th grade math and science and 8th grade math classes. The ideal candidate will have a biblical worldview; intentionally incorporate project-based learning opportunities; employ a standards-based approach to lesson development; and consistently differentiate instruction to increase student achievement. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in elementary education or in secondary education with math and science endorsements and current NAD Certification. It is preferred that the candidate have a Master’s degree in education and 3 years of successful middle school instruction experience. Must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
