Description: Southwestern Adventist University’s Department of Education and Psychology seeks applications for a full time faculty in Psychology with. 

Requirements:

• Current licensure in professional counseling,
• Current knowledge of the field
• Ability to implement effective teaching strategies that promote student learning
• Ability to connect with students to continue to grow the psychology program
• Lead and contribute to growing the MA in Psychology 

Experience: The Education and Psychology Department at Southwestern Adventist University invites applications for a full-time, faculty position in Psychology beginning July 1, 2024. Instructional roles include teaching a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate classes, and supervising internship. In addition to teaching, the successful applicant will be expected to actively support the scholarship of students in the program and outreach to the community. 

Education: PhD or PsyD required for candidates with post-secondary teaching experience preferred and experience with diverse populations.
