Los Banos Adventist Christian School seeks an experienced teacher for our multi-grade 5-8 classroom. We are a K-8 school in the heart of California's agriculturally rich Central Valley. With only a two-hour drive to Yosemite National Park and one hour from the beaches of the Central Coast, we are ideally situated for various recreational activities such as hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, boating, and swimming. We are supported by a dedicated church and school board dedicated to providing quality Christian Education for our community. Our ideal candidate for this position will have a calling to work with students in grades 5 to 8, and will work as a team as we grow our influence in Los Banos. Also, the successful candidate will be strong in mathematics and language arts instruction. This person will also have a proven track record of providing creative, engaging, and practical instruction in a multi-grade teaching environment. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  1) holds or is qualified to receive NAD teaching certification, Basic, Standard, or Professional, with an Elementary Education endorsement;  2) a team player;  3) maintains a spiritual presence and commitment;  4) has a passion for the development of young people and is on fire for Jesus Christ;  5) knowledgeable in elementary curriculum;  6) possesses the skills of organization, follow-through, and communication;  7) being bilingual in English and Spanish would be a plus;  8) most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.

The salary range for this position is $55,342-$71,086 based on North American Division certification, experience, and cost of living adjustment.
