Campion Academy, a boarding school in Loveland, Colorado, seeks a part-time Food Service Assistant to collaborate directly with the Food Service Director. We're looking for someone with a service-oriented mindset, hospitality, organization, attention to detail, and creativity. 

Responsibilities include:

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient meal service in a hygienic environment.
• Following menus and recipes to craft nutritious, appealing meals with diverse flavors, textures, and variety daily.
• Monitoring meal census for accuracy and consistency.
• Assisting in training, supervising, and evaluating student labor.
• Preparing high-quality food according to planned menus and gauging student satisfaction.
• Upholding sanitation and safety standards.
• Adhering to dress code and overseeing student compliance.
• Managing cleaning duties and supervising student tasks for satisfactory completion.
• Tracking student work progress and habits for accurate evaluations.
• Delivering cost-effective, nutritious meals in a clean, pleasant environment using student assistance.
• Actively seeking ways to enhance food service and providing suggestions to the director.
• Performing other duties as directed by the director.

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of culinary experience in quantity food preparation or completion of a recognized six-month course in quantity food preparation and cooking.

Immediate Supervisor: Food Service Director

Classification: Part-time, Non-exempt

Mid-American Union Remuneration Scale: 59% to 77%

Hourly Wage Scale: $17.81 to $23.77 per hour

Starting hourly rate is determined after verification of credentials issued by the Mid-America Union of Seventh-day Adventists and/or number of relevant years of experience.
