Meadow Glade Adventist Elementary School located in North Clark County, Washington—serves over 300 students in Kindergarten through grade eight. MGAES provides a family-oriented Christian atmosphere and we are intentional about developing students who are serious about their studies and living out their faith from a Biblical world-view. Position: We are looking for bright, creative, hardworking individuals to fill an opening for a primary grade level teacher for Gr. 1-2. 
 

The individual is a Godly person who wishes to make a positive difference in student’s lives, as we show them how to walk in the steps of Jesus. The teacher candidate(s) is collaborative--working on a grade level and school teams, and has superb communication skills with parents, students, and fellow staff members.

The applicant(s) must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher. Successful teaching experience, holds, or is eligible for NAD certification, as well as hold, or be eligible for a Washington state teaching license with the appropriate endorsements preferred. Preference to candidate(s) with strengths in: Standards Based Learning, differentiation for a diverse learning population, Project Based Learning and experiential learning, consistent and positive communication with students and parents, adaptability and flexibility, a well-managed classroom that fosters active student engagement in critical thinking, expression of ideas, curiosity for learning, respect for others, and a love and passion for teaching in Adventist Christian education. The successful candidate(s) for this position will be part of an experienced team of teachers who enjoy working with each other, and thrive on the challenges of working with students at this stage of their development.
