Minnetonka Christian Academy is excited to announce an opening for a high school science and P.E. teacher. This teacher must be certified in secondary science and P.E. One additional endorsement is also desired. This individual would be responsible for teaching all 5-12th grade science classes, including high school chemistry, biology, and/or physical science, as well as most P.E. classes for grades 1-12.

Minnetonka Christian Academy is a growing junior academy (PK-10th) that also offers 11-12th grade in partnership with Griggs. It is located in the west metro of the Minneapolis/St. Paul suburbs. With over 50 years of experience at its Minnetonka location and a rich history of education from the pre-k through 12th grade level, MCA is in the process of expanding its grade offerings to include a full high school and seek full pk-12th accreditation within the next two years. The school has experienced explosive growth in the last five school years and now has 120 students. MCA’s strengths include a family atmosphere, extracurricular activities including after school clubs and sports, an extremely supportive constituent church, a committed faculty, and a beautiful, centrally located campus.

The ideal candidate loves working with teenagers in a close-knit environment, and is a committed Seventh-day Adventist educator looking to invest in a growing, results-focused, family-centered school community. This teacher must be certified in secondary science and P.E.
