Description

Nursing Program faculty are responsible and accountable for preparing undergraduate students to successfully complete the Union College Nursing Program Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum and pass the National Council State Boards of Nursing Examination (NCLEX-RN). Union College Nursing faculty have a philosophy of partnering with students to help them reach their goals while caring for students holistically.

Required Experience
  • Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Doctoral degree preferred; Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited school with a desire to continue preparation at the the doctoral level required
  • Criminal history and background check clearance, evidence of current American Hart Association CPR training, and a current unencumbered Nebraska RN license or eligibility to apply for it
  • Three years of professional medical/surgical nursing experience that provides a broad knowledge base of nursing ad healthcare
  • Prior teaching experience in both classroom and clinical setting preferred
