Desmond T. Doss Christian School (DTD) is located in Lynchburg, VA. It is a six-teacher school, serving 90+ students in grades K-10. It provides a holistic educational environment, fostering academic, social, and personal growth for every student, irrespective of religious background. DTD serves a large non-SDA school community.

 

Required Experience

Applicants need Elementary and Jr. High or Secondary certification and have experience in multi-grade SDA schools (specifically in grades 7-10), preferably with administrative experience. A working knowledge of school finances and the ability to stay within an approved budget is important. 

 

Proficiency in technology and virtual learning delivery will be helpful. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are also important. 

 

Applicants should hold valid North American Division Teacher Certification – both elementary and Jr. High or Secondary – and be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.  Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. 

Must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
