This candidate will provide a variety of student services that will include supporting students needs, enrollment, communications, academic support, Griggs Life event planning and student retention.  The person in this position must work in the Berrien Springs, Michigan office.

  • Assist with Student Enrollment
  • Manage the main Griggs phone number calls
  • Collaborate in promotional efforts
  • Coordinate family/student visits
  • Develop a communication plan
  • Participate in automated student information
  • Supervise the student help desk
  • Assist students with academic strategies
  • Supply resources to students and teachers for IEPs
  • Coordinate Griggs Life Programs 
  • Liason for students and teachers
  • Coordinate Chapels/assemblies
  • Publish a monthly newsletter
  • Preparation for Handbook/Catalog Edits
  • Website Editor
  • Announcements for Griggs Life (LMS)
  • Annual Surveys (Class Climate)
  • Andrews University Office (not remote)

 

Required Experience
  • BA or BS degree in related area
  • Teacher Certification preferred
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience with SDA Education
  • Experience with planning events
  • Professional writing skills
  • Digital Media skills/Editing 
  • Used to using various technologies
  • Comfortable planning online events
  • Enjoys collaborating with a team

Griggs International Academy

We are an accredited K-12 SDA School that offers online asynchronous classes

Griggs International Academy, an accredited Seventh-day Adventist online school, offers self-paced asynchronous classes K-12 with synchronous components. Certified teachers facilitate learning for online students, NAD schools, and international partners. Parents work with the elementary director to guide grades K-5, while students in grades 6-12 meet with Griggs teachers at designated times. Our Griggs Live events provide activities for all Griggs students and include small group workshops, chapel, mentor groups, worship, and academic success strategies.
